From 528 lbs on the V-Strom 650 Adventure, to 432 lbs on my new Honda NX500. 96 to be precise.
But, it FEELS even less than that.
I’ve been watching for months for an NX500 in stock, let alone a good price.
Then I discovered a 2025 in stock, at a price below MSRP: $7,111.
No freight. No prep. Just a $200 “Doc” fee. Only problem was that it was 750 miles away at Jones Powersports, in Durant, OK.
Road trip!
The 1500 mile round trip took 3 days, but was worth it. The bike arrived home today, ready for the farkling to begin. And break-in. And first oil change. Then off to Spearfish.
After 3 years of great rides on my former CB500X, I am looking forward to an even better experience.
The NT1100 was a very attractive bike, just too heavy for this old guy.
