Circa 2015 I started wearing First Gear riding pants. By this year, they werent doing a very good job of shedding water. So I took out the armor and gently hand washed them...again and again till the dirt stopped appearing in the 5 gallon bucket. Then I sprayed them good with this product. ATSKO silicon water guard. Got 2 cans cheep on ebay and somehow they appeared on my front porch in an open top brown Walmart bag. I then let the pants "cure" for 48 hours. Man, after that, water just dribbled off the pants like it does on a duck's back. I am sure there are other water proofing products but this one works. I checked it out on my 960 mile ride this week of Volcanos and it did fine in a light rain. I also have a rain suit that fits over my pants and one that fits over my jacket.

Bunch of old geezers that need water proofing. Except for William.
