I'm starting this for people in northern Utah, southern Idaho, western Colorado and Wyoming to check in, and possibly set up some group rides. NT1100, NC700, NT750, CTX 700 and any other interested bike owners in the region are welcome. As the NT1100 is rolled out I'm hoping more people will be interested.

I'm in northern Cache Valley, almost to Idaho. Some of my favorite rides are through Weston Canyon to Malad, Emigration Canyon to Mountpelier and Soda Springs, and to Lava Hot Springs. I'm not a huge fan of Logan Canyon due to the heavy traffic, but if someone hasn't ridden it before and wanted to do so, I'd probably be willing to go along, just not on a weekend.

Last month I did an 1800 mile loop from Salina to Kanab, Page, Monument Valley, Four Corners, Durango, Ouray and Moab, staying on state highways and local roads whenever possible. That was the last ride on my Tracer 900, and was the inentive to get the NT1100. Later this summer/early fall I'd like to do a similar trip north, possibly into British Columbia. I've ridden to Hyder a couple of times years ago, but I don't think that is in the cards for this year.

Road construction in Northern Utah:

Logan Canyon: fiber optic installation, up to one hour delays reported.

Emigration Canyon: SR 36, northbound about half way to the summit: new pavement overlay, pilot car, possible 20 minute waits.

Lava Hot Springs: US 30 construction right at the entrance to town westbound; five or ten minutes delay; traffic lights, no pilot car.

If you're in Soda Springs, try the Main Street Diner or Caribou Jack's BBQ. In Lava Hot Springs, the Chuckwagon is good. There is also a good BBQ place in Malad City Spero's House of BBQ, behind the Maverik, but their hours are spotty. If they're closed, the Chat n Chew up the street has good burgers and sandwiches, but it's a bar and tends to be smoky. If you're going through Preston, Tattle's on west Onida is great. Good coffee, good prices, but they close early Sun-Wed.

Home again. Went with a group to Ca visited some Nat Parks for a week, as they returned home, my wife and I went north to Oregon to visit one of our kids. After another week I headed for home, wife followed a couple days later. I've now got over 7K on the NT. I did a 700 mile day to get home...... Oh I forgot to mention while in Ca We stopped in at Corbin seats and had one done for my bike - the custom seat is much MUCH better!

Frosty and I rode from Spokane to the Southern Parks of Utah when COVID stopped the Reno air races. Beautiful. Thinking the FJR may need to go there in September

I still haven't done a multi day ride on the NT, but this morning Pete (Tiger), Tod (Tracer GT) and I did about 90 miles in mostly southern Idaho,N/ NE of Preston and then around back through Clifton and Dayton. Beautiful day, started out in the 70s. Great ride.

That was a great trip! Two nights camping in a National Park. Ride close to the next, one night in a motel, repeat until you run out of NP's in Utah.

That camping trip looks like fun! And Utah National Parks are beautiful. I haven't camped since getting the NT your pictures might be enough to get me out on one.
I now have 10,000 miles on the NT - it is a pretty darn good bike!
