Dont forget to check out the new Rally Section, RSVP, etc. We who attend are very interested in who will be coming this year as we really enjoy seeing you all and talking and listening to Phil's stories. :devilish: If you are even just thinking of coming, let me know and brighten my day. So many good people....so many interesting stories....
Stove fuel and
Jet fuel available on request

OK, thanks for the nudge. I'm undecided and didn't comment on the rally thread because I don't know what to say. I have a conflicting event on the same weekend in Rochester NY. I'd rather go to Spearfish, it is way more fun and a lot less expensive. But the other event is probably more personally rewarding. Add to that my effort to go to the Eastern gathering in May with weather questionable at that early date, I really don't know what I'll end up doing. So, I'll get to the RSVP thread and say something. I hope I can edit it as I change my mind repeatedly.

Yeah, yeah yeah....pooping out on Spearfish huh? Yer just trying to get out of buying me that ice cream you owe me...

This soooo sounds like he is marrying off a daughter and getting her out of the house....I cant think of many other things that would be more satifying than camping out with us.....

Says the man who couldn't find his computer in his tent. If that isn't an indication of having too much "stuff" I don't know what is..

… and that's just fer a weekend trip! What's it look like for a long trip? One can only imagine....

:sneaky:

Chris, I have to give you lots of credit for organizing all the "stuff". I couldn't remember what all I had with me much less where I had put it if I had your "stuff". My remedy would be to forget to pack somethings each day of the trip and by the time I got home I'd be down to a low enough number of things for me to remember. Remember, I have to save enough of my memory to remember where home is so I can get there.

Red Green is my hero. "if it ain't broke yet, let Red fix it"
But will duct tape help my bad memory? Or is that what the WD40 is for? I can't remember.
100 percent blue agave tequila is the only thing that will help a bad memory...you wont have ANY memory. I also carry around a pen and small notebook. Now, where did I put that.

Jim, if it were not for lists, I would be toast. I have computer doc lists for every kind of trip. Cruise to Hawaii? No problem. Bike to Reno on FJR or NT? Its there...V-strom to Wyoming? Print it out...13803a place for everything and everything in its place.

Sardines in mustard sauce, Vienna Sausages, Potted meat, Slim Jims, Beef Jerky and trail mix. Fine dinin' on the road!
