I’m really liking the National Cycle mid height VStream windshield I installed this week. I rode 280 miles today and find it much quieter than the stock from low speed to go-to-jail speed.. It's going to work well for me. I like to ride with my Neotech 2 face shield up in hot weather, and I am able to do that now with the shield in the 2nd and 3rd position from fully down. Previously those blasted air straight in my face while 3rd, 4th, and 5th battered my helmet. The VStream creates a nice relatively calm bubble of gentle wind at my head level with the windshield set at any position but fully down. It’s only .75” taller and 1.25” wider but the shape of and wider top corners have moved turbulence away from my helmet. When I took it out of the box the reverse curve of the lower corners and lack of vent holes sort of alarmed me. I thought wind would spill off the bottom corners and create turbulence/noise behind it but they do not. Surprisingly all the bug splatter today is oriented within 10 degrees of vertical even out along the edges from the bottom all the way to the top corners. For reference National Cycle makes three sizes and this one is the middle one. I'm 5' 5" normal torso dimensions and look over the top edge at all but the highest position.
