Did not know that brake cleaner was safe! Thanks! You can spray with brake cleaner or electrical contact cleaner, both are sensor safe.
The Subaru can have a bank one and bank two sensor, one for each head and the exhausts then join into one pipe to go to the rear of the car. Not sure your Forester will have this setup though
My wife currently has a 2016 Honda CRV, her forth CRV. Started with a 2000, then a 2006, then a 2010. The 2016 is the best one and the last of the K24 engines. The 2017 had the 1.5 litre turbo which I will not buy due to all the problems with direct injection etc.
Very happy with the 2016 CRV and it currently has around 50,000 miles (80,000Km’s). Planning to jeep it until it has at least 180,000 miles (300,000 Km’s)

At one minute, 48 seconds in the vid I think you will see my setup. Would not swear on a stack of bibles yet till I get her plastic pan off but it looks like one F/A O2 at the front of the first Cat con and one at the rear of the first cat con.
I love Hondas but I have to say the 2004 gen 2 is the cat's meow. The full service spare is on the back of the vehicle, freeing up tons of dog crate space. The floor of the rear of the car is a cover for the trunk and it doubles as a picknic table. The spark plugs are easy and the screw adjusters are right there. 8 bolts and both rear seats come out and go into the basement. I have never banged my head on a coffin door, either. In 21 years it has blown 2 codes. Both in 2024. One was the VTEC pressure switch/solinoid which was quick and easy and cheep to replace. The other was an O2 sensor which is right next to the other O2 sensor and easy to get to.
The Sub has an odd little air box on the drivers side rear of the intake manifold....do you know what it does? The engine air cleaner was filthy and 50k old (my wife isnt big on maintenance) so I have one ordered ...meanwhile, I put back in a much better used one. I keep spares cause I live in a volcano ash zone.
