LS2 Advent, X trim, with back pack(!), helmet bag, spare face shield, fibre conposit, fog shield, 2026 date. Serial number. Picture does not show true color. Kind of a matt cobalt. (Oh darn, those absent minded Dutch forgot to add 9.2 percent WA sales tax. I will send the WA st Dept of revenue a check tout suite.)

2. I have a friend who works in computer graphics for a large engineering firm who makes excellent "replicas" 😂

Price with shipping was $420 UD. Revzilla price is $500 plus 9.2 percent WA pirate tax. Even if you could get this color. Which you can't.

That's a nice color. Light weight, too, for a modular. It'll go well with that NT 1100 ;)
Are you SURE you don't have one of those on order?
Or maybe you're getting your new bike from the Dark Market to avoid your State's "Pirate Tax". We'ed all be proud of you if you could actually do that and get it licensed and titled.

I sat on a NT bike at the Honda Pavilion and talked briefly with the Honda rep, who was busier than a one armed wall paper hanger with crabs and foot fungus..... The ergonomics are good but as reported on the two FB pages, the seat is aweful. Hard as a rock. I didnt bombard the rep why there were no pannier locks or color pannels for the panniers in the US...I think they just misjudged the demand.
I could not confirm or deny the rumor that the Canadians are getting the standard tranny and all he would say is that as far as he knew, only US police bikes would be getting the Standard clutch. It would be nice to have the 24 lb savings and cheeper price.

The Triump is a better bike for me at 75 lbs lighter, which is hard to calculate, but I dont like the dealer network, the $1800 valve set at 12,000, and the fact that you have to rent the maintenance manual and you need some sort of OBDII to Bluetooth interface and pay for an app to reset the mainteenance reminder.

I havent rearsearched the Suzuki 1050 yet, other than the fact that some are ugly in the tank area. The adventure version has a tube in the front tire only. Really? Its not the lightest bike in the world either. And the seat height is ridiculas. I dont know if it vibrates.
And like the vibrating 800 Vstrom, the luggage comes up too high for my packing system. Maybe someone else makes usable panniers for it and there are roll bars available.
And I have a very nice Vstrom 650, thank you very much. Just wish it had a cruise control like the 1050. It has a center stand, a very nice givi wind screen, and sane Panniers and a roll bar. Just a throttle lock and no cruise.

So...find a police dept that will order, then sell to you the NT1100 police version. If you can manage to do that you have your ride. In White!
 
You can also potentially purchase a real cruse control for your Vstrom from MCCruse in Oz. - If yours fits their model year specifications for the unit. Price plus import tariffs makes this expensive but certainly much less then a new motorcycle.
 
Oh, according to VI POWERSPORTS, Nanaimo, British Columbia they have for sale or can get a 2026 NT1100 with standard transmission.

Himmm...but if I started my own town...
I am sure the used bikes are surplused off to the public or more likely to the selling dealer....
That's what they used to do with firearms in the past.....but they would offer them to the troopers first.

Its pretty clever how they do it with a cable to servo to cable. Not exactly sure but I suppose there is a box that taps into the speedo input. $900 USD plus tarriffs, etc. I think I will stick with my throttle lock. (Dont breath the smokey air, my friend.)

There was a Canadian at our rally that said they were coming to Canada. Canada may have interesting laws, like actually being able to import a motorcycle from another country...say Malaysia. And if it meets EU standards for pollution, why not? Since the DCT meets emissions and safety issues...

MOTO CANADA receives many calls from Canadians wishing to import motorcycles, ATVs, scooters, and mopeds into Canada from foreign countries. Many of these potential importers are surprised to learn that there are regulations that must be met as a condition of admitting these vehicles into Canada. The Motor Vehicle Safety Act and regulations administered by Transport Canada establish the safety standards for vehicles manufactured and imported into Canada. Under this legislation, the importer is responsible to ensure that the vehicles imported comply with the applicable standards, prior to their importation into Canada. A commercial importer is also responsible for issuing a notice of defect (recall) for any defect in the design or manufacture of the vehicle after it is sold in Canada.

I got a shiny new quarter that says if I was a Honda Motorcycle dealer in say Vancouver, I could go to Canada Honda and say, "I would like to import 100 Standard 2026/2027 NT1100s. They meet Canada Emissions and safety standards already. In this day and age of computers and airplanes, the few different parts would not be a big hassle. Heck, Americans cant even get lock tumblers or colored pannels for their panniers as it is. Heck, the dealer might even just have to get them from an Australian dealer. The US makes everything so complicated....dont get me started on the Honda CRV idle speed bravo sierra.

Weird. I have used the LS 2 Valient for 10 plus years....never an issue. Properly set windscreen and helmet shield. Now when I toured without a wind screen I had to have a bubble shield. Hated it.

Did I see no cruise control? Idiots! Fu**ing idiots! They have all these bizarre features like the headlight following the road in a lean and they very purposely refuse to put on a cruise control! Ride by wire and no cruise control! Bags, centerstand, roll bars and this is my bike. Givi wind screen. 31 in seat height and light weight and launch assist are all great. Take my money! It will be too late for my lifetime but if they hold a US focus group with other than egg plants, this bike with the right options would fly off the dealer shelves. So sad but I bet later they come out with a better bike. So sad. My hands are so old they go numb holding a broom....I want cruise. Even with the McCruise installed, it may work. And it matches my helmet.
