Gear indicator

I finally got around to having my $35 gear indicator http://www.ebay.com/itm/FOR-HONDA-NT700V-Deauville-2011-2012-2013-Plug-play-Gear-Indicator-/111807094597?hash=item1a0838df45:g:R6YAAOSw9mFWLaqC&vxp=mtr&rmvSB=true installed (I'm electronically challenged) and besides they only charged me $48.00.

So, how is it?

I went on a nice ride today to Glacier National Park and other parts of the Flathead valley. Just wanted all to know the gear indicator worked flawlessly.

Thanks for the report. It is good to know that it works well, whether I buy one or not.
What does it show when stationary in N and in 1st gear?
Does it show 1 if you select 1st gear after starting the engine or do you have to be moving before it indicates the gear?

After having the gear indicator for awhile. I know I could live without it but, I really like having it.
