Count me in, haven't decided which bike to bring , but got lots O time for that.

I just have to point out that it will indeed be the 2nd Spearfish National NT rally, but it will be the 3rd NT national rally. That first year we were in Hill City. And in 2010 wasn't there some kind of national meet-up in the mid-west somewhere that Phil was at?

I suppose we should just call it the 3rd National NT Rally - location not all that important?

Tim, the 2010 event that I attended was the Concours Owners Group National Rally. I'd been a member of COG for 10 years, but have since dropped out, mainly because of internal political issues (which have no place in a motorcycle group). After that event, I met Katherine and three other NT riders in northern Michigan. One of those was bish, who's trying to sell his NT after having a baby. One of the guys was named Brandon, the other Don, can't remember which was which, and there was a couple, both of who's names started with a "K" IIRC; he rode an ST, she was on a lowered NT.

For awhile, the five of us had the record for the largest gathering. Up until Hill City last year, I think.

My opinion is that we should call the 2013 event the 3rd National NT Rally. But it's just an opinion.

Yup, I (Brandon) was there. The K was Kris with her husband Keith (if memory serves me correctly), Keith was on his ST1300, Kris on a lowered NT. Its killing me that I haven't been able to make it to any of the rallys since then. Perhaps someday when my daughter is able to ride on the back with me :cool:

I am seriously considering attending. Maybe if some other southeastern riders go, we can meet up near St Louis and ride together... food fer thought.

I could meet you in Missouri and ride up to the rally. Maybe get some other riders to come along. Sounds good to me.

Alex, the most popular tent at the NT side of the Rally in Spearfish was the REI Half-Dome 2 Plus. I think we had five or six of them there.

Ah... if it were me, I'd pic a different tent/color as to not accidentally get in the wrong tent... I mean, we're friendly but not THAT friendly.

or spray paint/die something interesting on the rain cover ....

I may or may not make '13. I won't know until next year and it all depends on my boss as well as a few other things.
 
I will try to come and e there for the whole thing next year, hopefully I won't have to miss all gthe fun by having to depart early.

I want to come...if for nothing else, the opportunity to see some new country..Ive never been farther west than Santa Fe in my 52 years
 
If you come to Spearfish from Dallas, you won't want to take the direct route. It's about like riding through Oklahoma and Kansas. :)

Nebraska is a little better, but if it was me, I'd take a big swing to the west either coming or going between Spearfish and Dallas.
