Looking for the OEM Hondaline lower cowl for the NT700. It has been cold around here. Mid Shin down is still in the wind and I'd like to do something about it. I've seen the aftermarket stuff for sale but I'd like to have the Honda cowl if I can find it. Thanks

Unless you're really lucky in finding a used OEM one (that is not trashed) on eBay, methinks you'll have to settle for this:

kinda thin plastic though, brakes rather easily during a tip-over, so IMO a consumable, but will help keeping road-wash and debris off the engine...

Thanks. I look into that one some more. I didn't even know that model/Brand was out there. I was just seeing the ebay stuff and I really didn't like the looks.

It ain't pretty but serves the purpose, and is affordable...
The one I'd gotten for my GF's NT is out of production (so I'll have to tack and glue that together from now on...)
There is a UK made one like a full lower fairing, requiring getting it painted in the vehicle's color...

so you own the Puig cowling? not a different model. Im not real worried about the engine getting dirty. How does it deflect the wind from below the knees? Im just trying to keep wind off my ankles and feet. seems that is where the wind protection is the worst. and thats the first place where Ive been feeling the cold.

We had* it on my GF's NT, it protruding at the sides, she cracked it during a tip over... it works so far, helps keeping spray off your boots, I'd install a fender-extender too to keep debris off the engine...
(* got her a better, gray, German made (small company) one which isn't avail anymore...)
