NT700, Red, #989,
Just read where the NT1100 will be imported to the US to be used as police motorcycles. I would suspect that after undergoing the time and expense to get the NT approved by DOT, the EPA, and CARB Honda will likely begin to offer the bike for sale to the general public. Keep your fingers crossed and if you are interest in buying one, begin your letter writing campaign to American Honda forthwith!

I would consider the NT1100, throw away the measly, underpowered, only 5 speed, oops my side cases fell open, sorry azz NT700V. Whoops I didn't mean to slander the 700!!@@##$$ Na, its been a good 2 NT's for me, but I would consider the 1100

Interesting. Does that say six speed plus reverse? When I was working on Washington State Patrol Bikes, WSP fleet would put on the siren, driver and controls as well as install the radio. It will be interesting to see if any depts go to this bike with its chain drive. Each dept will require certain options and a higher windscreen will probably be one. Obviously, the alternator will have to handle lights, siren, lap top and radio all at once. If Honda is dumping the 1300 police version, then what are the choices? WSP uses BMWS Now, IIRC. All these STs are gone or used at the acadamy for training I think, but I am not sure. .

Note the date. I think they went from Kawasakis to BMWs to STs and are now going back to BMWs.
