Just picked up a clean 2010 NT700V with 50k miles on it. Been riding for about 25 years now and I've been looking for something like it. Boy I'm enjoying it!

Welcome! I have been riding for over 50 years and just picked up a red 2010 NT700V a month ago. It's a very enjoyable ride!

Its is nice, but I think I'm gonna have to raise the bars a bit. I'm a little tall in the torso with short arms and its a bit of a lean.

Raising the bars 1” is about the max you can do without causing binding on the clutch cable. In the early days of the NT many of us bought the clutch cable for a Honda Transalp that was 2” longer than the stock NT clutch cable. I found a 1” up and 1” back riser about perfect for me along with the longer Transalp cable.
