This year, I am once again taking part in the Distinguished Gentlemen's Ride on May 18, 2025 to raise funds and awareness for men's health on behalf of the Movember Foundation and I need your help!

Movember is the world's largest men's health organization focused on universal, game-changing and realistic outcomes for prostate cancer and men's health.

Prostate Cancer Statistics
  • Prostate cancer is the most common cancer in men.
  • 307,000 men will die from prostate cancer each year
Suicide Prevention - Men's Mental Health
  • Suicide is the biggest killer of men aged 20-39 with 3/4 of all suicides being male.
  • 510,000 men die from suicide each year..... that's one every minute!
This is a number that we seek to drastically change and can only be made possible through raising funds and awareness to help men from dying too young.

This year, 2025 marks my tenth consecutive year in supporting the Movember Foundation and men's health. I would appreciate your kind donation to help me make this year another successful effort to support men worldwide. Please support me on my ride by going to https://www.gentlemansride.com/fundraisers/mikesim and making a donation to help fund men's health programs. Or, better yet, every major city worldwide will be sponsoring their own Distinguished Gentlemen's Ride. Find your local ride and and participate yourself! Your support will help benefit men all over the world.

God Bless,

Mike

Originally back when the DGR started they emphasized dapper gentlemen riding classic motorcycles, however they never turned anyone away who rode a newer bike. I rode my NT for many years until I acquired my classic '78 Yamaha XS650. Now, at least here in the St. Louis ride I would say the mix is about 60% classic and 40% newer bikes. My son who rides in the Cleveland DGR says that their mix is about the same. The main thing is to dress dapper, show up, meet some nice folks, ride safe, have a good time and raise money for a good cause.
