The NT is getting some well deserved TLC.

As part of it, since my windscreen was getting a lil difficult to go up and down, I decided to clean and re-lube the channels.
Process: Remove the rubber > remove the plastic plate > remove windscreen > remove the rubber covers.
Used de-greaser and kitchen towels to clean out the channels.
Used lithium grease to lube both sides of each channel.

I has sprayed WD40 silicone grease in the past, but it was no longer helping. I am assuming as I had not sprayed it in the side channels , instead i just sprayed directly inside vertically. Had I known the structure of the channels, I would have used the straw to sprayed at an angle directly into the side channels.

The images are numbered from 1 to 8, 1 begin beginning and 8 begin the final.

I was dreading cleaning, and thought I may have to take off the front plate, but once I opened , it was much easier. The channels are not too deep and even my man hands could reach most nooks.
I have tired to click the pictures of the channel from left and right angel so that both the edges of the channel can be seen.

I hope this helps anyone else who wants to do this cleaning.
