Another marque in trouble?

Just reading where KTM is nearing insolvency. They are pausing their racing program and laying off a substantial part of their workforce effective immediately. In recent years they have some costly acquisitions plus reintroducing some legacy brands. This year, their sales have taken a substantial hit not unlike many other powersport marques. It will be interesting to see what the powersports scene will look like a year down the road.

I suspect their financial woes will lead to lots of racing series being almost devoid of KTM bikes or KTM clones. Already they have withdrawn entries for Husqvarna and Gas-Gas for the 2025 Dakar Rally which starts in only a few weeks. This will make it much more interesting for the other brands such as Honda, Yamaha, CFMoto, etc.

And next year, the KTM clubhouse in motoGP will most likely be a lot skinnier!

ps. For 3-4 days, I was unable to get onto the NT-Owner's page then finally got it back. Was I alone in my woes?

I've gotten on each day, but the initial display looked screwy until I refreshed the image.
