May I assume that judging from your age your tush is sufficiently broken in by now.......?My seat is in north Texas! Should be here Thursday morning. Have a short ride with a coupe of friends on Friday to check it out. Steve said the seat should have a break-in period of 2,000 miles.

I like the styling / stitching pattern on the seat. I hope it is what you were expecting as far as comfort. He is not inexpesive.200 miles on the new seat. It is a big improvement.
I tried several cushions, kept telling myself it was not worth that much money. No combination of cushions provided more than 2.5 hours of mostly pain free riding. Steve Gowing was recommended by several riders on a couple of forums, including this one. He was less expensive than the big names.I like the styling / stitching pattern on the seat.
