2010 Silver NT700
Hello.members!
I have a nt700v 2010. 41000miles
My NT700v got a rear shock problem recently.
Oil leak & spread swing arm. And damping is not good.
So. I want to exchange the used one.
Dealer explained the shock can using 2006~2013 NT700v.52400-mew-922.
But 2010 NT part# is 52400-mew-305.
Picture is same. May I order it?
Do you know any differences about them?

The US market never received the 2006-2009 NT700 so we don't have experience with those models. Our first NT700V was a 2010 model.

Yes that part should be OK to use.

The last three digits of a Honda part number are a code for the manufacturer of the part.

For those interested, the first numbers are the item number and the middle section (MEW in the above part number) specify the first model that the part was used in.

So the above part number quoted by the dealer, is the same part but made by a different manufacturer.
